Drugs + Fame= Death?

 

 

 

Why are we loosing our celebrities to drugs?  It's a question that's 

 

been asked for decades...  Can someone please explain why drugs

 

are running so ramped in the celebrity community?  We just lost who

 

most consider to be the greatest entertainer ever Michael Jackson to

 

propofol, and now a few weeks later we lose DJ AM to what is being

 

called and accidental overdose.  My question is why does this have to be?

 

I've asked this question to lots of Artist, and the one answer they all share

 

is they use it as an escape.  Escape from what??  Fame?  If fame is so bad

 

then why push so hard for it? I know fame has a price, but using drugs is

 

not the answer! It doesn't provide and escape from the pressures of fame,

 

it only adds more misery to your famous life, and here lately will land you

 

in the basement of your local MORGUE!  Michael Jackson & DJ AM should be 

 

more than enough proof of what drug addiction can lead too.  Drugs aren't

 

cool, nor do they enhance your ability to create, or perform best at you craft.

 

Your not great because of drugs.....  Your greatness comes from above!

 

Talent is GOD given, and until these Artist, Actors, etc.. realize this

 

fact, we will continue to have more untimely deaths in our celebrity

 

community.  Over the past few years we've lost very talented people. 

 

Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger, Brad Renfro, DJ AM, and Pimp C..

 

All celebrities in there own right, all dead of drug,

 

all gone way to soon.  I think Jay-Z said

 

it best.... Hollywood, Fame.... It ain't for everybody.  Any thoughts???
